In the wake of heavy rainfall, cloudbursts, and landslides that wreaked havoc across Jammu and Kashmir, the SVS Sadbhavana Charitable Trust, Sunderbani, has stepped forward to provide shelter, food, and essential relief to affected families. His Holiness Atal Pithadhishwar Rajguru Acharya Mahamandleshwar Shri Shri 1008 Swami Vishwatmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, Chairman of the Trust which are located in India & Uganda, announced that the relief facilities are open to everyone irrespective of caste, creed, or religion.

"There is no limit on the stay. Victims can reside in our ashrams until they rebuild their lives, and they are welcome to bring their belongings," Swami Ji said while addressing the media. The Trust has designated multiple ashrams to house victims - SVS Gyan Ganga Ashram at Devipura for those from Akhnoor and adjoining areas, and Chhan Rorian Ashram for people from Samba and Kathua. Swami Ji further assured that temporary accommodation would be arranged for families who have lost everything and are unable to rebuild immediately due to financial hardship. The Trust in Uganda stands in full support with this cause !

In addition, the Trust will provide transportation facilities for underprivileged families to reach the ashrams, ensuring timely and inclusive support during this humanitarian crisis.
